Once you've conquered cold process and hot process soap-making, it's time to dive into the world of creating liquid soap from the ground up.

In our class, you'll explore:

• The Art of True Liquid Soap Making for Pet (NO DETERGENT!)
• The Correct Method for Diluting Soap Paste
• Techniques for Scenting, Coloring and Thickening Liquid Pet Soap (for those unfamiliar with its watery consistency)

Duration: 2-2.5 hours

Capacity: 2-6 people

Knowledge required: Cold Process or Hot process Soap making experience is preferred, but not required. ( Please note that we won't deliver the true soap basic and essential knowledge lecture as it's considered a semi-intermediate class)

What you'll Make and Take Home:

• A batch of 2-lb pet soap paste you make in-class, can be diluted to 3-4 lb of liquid dog shampoo.
• A bottle of soap you dilute in-class.

What to bring

• A food container (glass is better) for holding your soap paste made in-class.
• A thick towel for wrapping and keeping the soap insulated on your way home
• We will provide the face mask, disposable apron, gloves and goggles, but feel free to bring yours.

1. Science and knowledge of hot process liquid dog shampoo | pet soap making.
2. Dealing with Lye safely and properly
3. Tools and Materials/Ingredients required for soap making.
4. Step-by-Step Liquid soap making procedure.
5. Liquid Soap diluting, scenting, coloring.
6. Liquid Soap thickening
7. A handout with the recipe and detailed instruction

What you need to know about the workshop/ class:

• We will be working with a chemical called "Sodium hydroxide (lye) " (Lye is used in the saponification process to turn oil into soap - no sodium hydroxide remains in the finished product after curing.) Please be extra careful while handling LYE in class.
• THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR ADULTS ONLY and it requires your full attention while making the cold process soap. 
• No pets or kids allowed in the workshop for safety's sake.  
• If you're a high school student and would like to attend, you'd need to provide approval by your parent or guardian.
• No walk-ins or sit-ins will be allowed for safety's sake.

Safety Rules and Regulations for the Store and Workshop - Mandatory for Everyone's Protection. Any violation may result in dismissal.

• If you are unwell, please stay home and notify us to reschedule your workshop.
• It is strongly recommended that individuals who have not received the Covid-19 vaccination wear a FACE MASK throughout the workshop. Please bring your own mask, or you can purchase one from the workshop. (We no longer provide free face masks due to shortages and increased costs. Thank you for your understanding.) If you are unable to wear a face mask for any reason, please reconsider signing up for the workshop.
• Wear an apron, gloves, and eye protection (glasses or safety goggles) while making soaps. We will provide these items, or you may bring your own.
• Thoroughly wash your hands with soap before and after the workshop.
• Prohibited items include weapons, drugs, and alcohol within the store and workshop premises.

Registration and Cancellation Policy (Please read carefully):

• To receive a refund, a cancellation notice must be sent at least 2 business days before the scheduled class.
• Starting from April 11th, 2023, a cancellation fee of 3.5% of the total amount paid will be deducted from any refund issued.
• Cancellations made within 2 business days before the class will not receive a refund but will be issued a store credit valid for attending a future workshop within 6 months.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop or no-shows will not receive any refund or credit.
• No refund or credit will be issued if you are dismissed for breaking our classroom safety rules.
• In the event that the workshop cannot be conducted as scheduled, you may choose to transfer to another date or receive a full refund.

Accident Waiver and Release of Liability:

• By participating in this activity or event, I assume all risks involved. For parents registering children under 18 years of age, I give my consent for their participation.
• This includes, but is not limited to, any risks arising from negligence or carelessness on the part of the individuals or entities involved, as well as risks associated with dangerous products, materials, or defective equipment or property under their ownership, maintenance, or control, or due to their potential liability without fault.
