You will make and take:

• 6 tubes of organic lip balm
• 2 jars of lip sugar srub

Choose the natural additives, essential oils to create your ultimate lip care products!

Lip Sugar Scrub benefits: Lip scrubs use fine particles (like sugar) to gently exfoliate, removing dead, flaky skin and promoting a smoother texture. Most lip scrubs contain oils, like coconut or olive oil, which hydrate and nourish the lips, keeping them soft and moisturized. Exfoliating lips can enhance their natural color and make them look healthier, plumper, and more vibrant. By clearing away dry skin, lip scrubs allow balms or moisturizers to penetrate better, leading to longer-lasting moisture. A smooth base is key for applying lipstick or lip gloss. Using a scrub can prevent makeup from clinging to dry patches, helping products apply more evenly. The gentle massaging action of using a scrub helps stimulate blood flow, which may give the lips a natural, rosy tint.

Lip Balm Benefits: Lip balm provides a protective barrier that locks in moisture, keeping lips soft and preventing dryness. Ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, or cocoa butter in many lip balms help repair and soothe chapped or cracked lips. Some lip balms contain SPF, which shields lips from harmful UV rays and helps prevent sunburn, premature aging, and skin damage. Emollients and natural oils in lip balms reduce irritation and can help soothe sensitive lips, making them ideal for colder or windy climates. Regular application gives lips a smooth texture, which helps lip color or other lip products apply evenly.

Class Level: Beginner/Basic

Class size: 3-8 attendees (12 years old and older)

What you will learn and receive at this workshop:

1. Science and knowledge of organic lip balm & lip scrub
2. Tools and Materials/Ingredients required in-class
3. Natural Coloring, botanical Embed and scenting skills.
4. Step-by-Step making procedure.
5. A handout with a recipe and detailed instruction

What you need to bring to the workshop:

• We encourage you to bring your aprons or wear a working shirt to the workshop. We will also provide the aprons.

What you need to know about the workshop/ class:

• The duration is about 1~1.5 hours.
• The fee includes all of the materials and the usage of the tools. You can choose to bring your own jars.
• This workshop is for 12 years old or older, not for young kids.
• No walk-ins or sit-ins are allowed as we need to prepare everything at least 2 days ahead.

Safety Rules and Regulations for the Store and Workshop - Mandatory for Everyone's Protection. Any violation may result in dismissal.

• If you are unwell, please stay home and notify us to reschedule your workshop.
• We suggest you wear an apron, gloves, and eye protection (glasses or safety goggles) while working. We will provide these items, or you may bring your own.
• Thoroughly wash your hands with soap before and after the workshop.
• Prohibited items include weapons, drugs, and alcohol within the store and workshop premises.

Registration and Cancellation Policy (Please read carefully):

• To receive a refund, a cancellation notice must be sent at least 2 business days before the scheduled class.
• Starting from April 11th, 2023, a cancellation fee of 3.5% of the total amount paid will be deducted from any refund issued.
• Cancellations made within 2 business days before the class will not receive a refund but will be issued a store credit valid for attending a future workshop within 6 months.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the workshop or no-shows will not receive any refund or credit.
• No refund or credit will be issued if you are dismissed for breaking our classroom safety rules.
• In the event that the workshop cannot be conducted as scheduled, you may choose to transfer to another date or receive a full refund.

• By participating in this activity or event, I assume all risks involved. For parents registering children under 18 years of age, I give my consent for their participation.
• This includes, but is not limited to, any risks arising from negligence or carelessness on the part of the individuals or entities involved, as well as risks associated with dangerous products, materials, or defective equipment or property under their ownership, maintenance, or control, or due to their potential liability without fault.
