N03 - Cold Process Beer Soap Workshop - All Purpose Bar

Make your own Organic Soap from Scratch!

This workshop is included in the Natural Soap Application Course.

Why Beer Soap?

Skin Benefits:

  • Moisturizing: Beer soap can be exceptionally moisturizing due to the natural oils in beer, such as hops and barley. These ingredients can help soften and hydrate the skin.
  • Rich in Nutrients: Beer contains a variety of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, such as B vitamins and polyphenols. These can nourish the skin and promote its health.

Conditioning Properties:

  • Silky Smooth Feel: The rich lather and creamy texture of beer soap can leave the skin feeling soft and silky.
  • Improved Texture: The beer's proteins can help add texture and a luxurious feel to the soap.

Gentle Cleansing:

  • Mild and Gentle: Cold process soap, in general, tends to be gentle on the skin because it retains the natural glycerin produced during the saponification process.
  • Balanced pH: Beer soap is typically pH-balanced, which means it won't strip the skin of its natural oils, making it suitable for sensitive skin types.

Great for Hair Wash:

  • Beer can offer several benefits when used as a hair treatment due to its composition of proteins, vitamins, and minerals.
  • Beer is slightly acidic, which can help to balance the pH levels of the scalp and hair. This can leave the hair feeling soft and manageable.

** Please note that Cold Process Soap takes at least 4 weeks to cure, please plan ahead for your needs.
